Volunteering as an Individual

HabiJax offers volunteer opportunities for you to help with all aspects of home building.  We have both construction and non-construction volunteer opportunities available. You do not need to be an expert in construction to help out on a work site. In fact no experience is necessary.  There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and work with others. On-site construction work is the most popular HabiJax volunteer opportunity. We make every effort to incorporate all willing volunteers regardless of skill level. All volunteers on the construction site must be at least 14 years of age or older. We work rain or shine!

There are two ways to sign up to become a volunteer:

• Online Registration & Orientation —
  The online volunteer registration and orientation process is simple and will take about ten minutes. It does not have to all be completed at one time. Completing this Registration & Orientation online will give you immediate access to our construction and other volunteer opportunities. If you complete the Online Registration & Orientation, you do not need to do an in-person orientation.
• Telephone —
  You can contact the Volunteer Services (904) 798-4529 and we can schedule a date and time for you to come volunteer with us.
