Volunteer Appreciation Program
Yet another Reason to Volunteer with HabiJax!

HabiJax wants our volunteers to know how much we appreciate them. Our recognition program acknowledges volunteers in many different ways and is run on a calendar year. Our program culminates at the end of each year with an invitation to our Volunteer Appreciation Banquet.

Our Construction Program recognizes volunteers at different stages as they continue to volunteer throughout the year.
Stage 1: Volunteer 5 times; receive a t-shirt.
Stage 2: Volunteer 10 times; receive either a water bottle or travel mug.
Stage 3: Volunteer 15 times; receive either a tote bag, duffel bag, or blanket.
Stage 4: Volunteer 25 times and receive the affectionate title of “HabiHolic”; as well as a personalized gift and HabiHolic hat. Once a volunteer acheives HabiHolic status he/she is considered a regular, and will be recognized annually at the Volunteer Appreciation Banquet.

ReStore volunteers are rewarded each time they come out with a voucher for one ReStore dollar per hour they work.

Regular volunteers in construction, the office, and special groups are recognized annually at the Volunteer Apprecition Banquet. They also receive HabiJax nametags so that they can be recognized as permament members of the HabiJax family.

The Volunteer Appreciation Banquet is held annually each February to honor the volunteers who worked with us the previous calendar year. All regular volunteers are invited as well as any construction or ReStore volunteer who contributed 40 or more hours during the year. An invitation is also extended to the leaders of our sponsor volunteer groups.
