Helping to complete specialized tasks, they are an invaluable asset to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Desire to serve the Jacksonville community
- Works well with others
- Available to volunteer on most Wednesday & Friday
Flexible Schedule: Wednesday and Friday mornings, 7:00am-11:30am
Tasks:
- Install exterior doors
- Install bathroom hardware (towel bars, toilet paper holders, medicine cabinets), closet shelves, baseboards, and quarter rounds
- Install exterior columns, handrails, and shutters
- Build storage sheds
Perks:
- Community involvement
- Hands-on training from HabiJax staff and experienced volunteers
Other Notes:
- No experience necessary
- Tools are provided
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years old
