HabiJax Homebuyers
From the date of closing, your home is covered under warranty for a period of one year inclusive of most building components.
In addition to the one-year warranty coverage, Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville, Inc. further warrants:
- For a period of two years from the date of closing, your home’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing distribution systems.
- For a period of five years, your home’s roof.
- For a period of ten years, the structural components of your home against defects in materials or workmanship as outlined in the Warranty Conditions section of your HabiJax Homeowner Maintenance Manual.
Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville, Inc. will repair items with significant defects in material or workmanship using industry standards to determine level of repair or replacement. Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville, Inc. will not warrant items damaged or made defective by you or others after your closing.
