Haskell builds, leads by serving

The Haskell Company is known as a global leader in architecture, engineering, construction, and consulting. From cruise terminals and manufacturing facilities to military aircraft hangers and hospitals, they take on big and complicated projects. Among these projects: building a better Jacksonville by building homes in partnership with Habitat for Humanity over the past 30 years.

One of Haskell’s core values is service – a value they embody through hands-on involvement in constructing homes for Jacksonville families. They helped build two this year, bringing the total Haskell has sponsored here in Jacksonville to 29 homes. With the brief exception of two years when they were unable to volunteer in person due to COVID-19 protocols, Haskell employees have volunteered on all of these homes. It has become a company-wide effort, with the CEO hanging windows alongside a new hire.

Haskell’s philanthropic leadership is also reflected in their policy of dedicating 3 percent of profits to charitable causes – nearly fourfold the national average. Thank you, Haskell, for your support and enthusiasm!
