ReStore Volunteers

The HabiJax ReStore is a home improvement retail outlet selling new and gently used furniture, appliances and building materials to the public. Proceeds from the ReStore support our mission to provide affordable homeownership opportunities. Assist with sorting donations, moving items onto the floor, pricing items, cleaning, and re organization of the floor or warehouse!

To Volunteer with HabiJax:

All volunteers must register and schedule online prior to volunteering. Visit the Volunteer Calendar by clicking the button below.

If you have not registered before, it will ask you to complete the volunteer registration. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to work in the ReStore.

Days and Times

Monday to Saturday from
9:30am – 1:30pm or 2:00pm – 6:00pm

What to Wear

Closed-toe tennis shoes (no crocs) or boots are required and clothes appropriate for light physical labor. No leggings, mini skirts, or spandex shorts. Duties vary daily. Climate controlled.

What to Bring

A reusable water bottle is suggested. You may want to bring a snack, too.
